Whether you need to rent a machine for a day, a week, or a month, Tri-Lift NJ short term rentals can accommodate all of your needs with our extremely reliable and affordable fleet of rental units. Our units range from 3,000 to 30,000 pound capacities.
LONG TERM
If you are looking for a solution to help control your monthly equipment expense and maintenance/repair bills, long term rentals might be the solution for you. Our low rate includes all normal maintenance and repairs. Each rate is customized to extend the lowest possible rate to you.

TYPES OF FORKLIFTS AVAILABLE FOR RENT
Did you know there are five classes of forklifts? Each one specializes in a particular type of application, and it's important to consider what the forklift will be doing and where it will be operating. Below are the five types and what application and environment they are appropriate for use in.
Electric Forklifts
- These forklifts are typically limited to indoor use.
- An electric forklift is ideal for an application where lift capacities don't exceed 6,000 lbs.
- If there are sensitive items such as food products, apparel or the possibility of customers being present, you may want to use an electric lift truck due to the lack of exhaust and the low noise levels.
- You will need a charger for an electric lift truck if you plan on using it for exteneded periods, we rent those too!
Narrow Aisle Forklifts
- These forklifts are designed to operate within the confines of narrow aisle racking setups.
- The most common types are reach trucks and order pickers.
- Aisle dimensions typically start at 9' and get smaller.
Pallet Trucks
- Pallet trucks include electric pallet jacks, walkie riders, and walkie stackers.
- Typically if you need to move a palletized load less that 50' feet, you should consider a electric pallet jack.
- If you need to constantly move loads over 50', you should consider a walkie end rider.
- Walkie stackers can handle loads up to 4,000 lbs. and lift to heights of up to 17'.
Warehouse Forklifts
- The most common type of forklift rental.
- Also called "cushion tire forklifts", the tire being lower profile and solid rubber.
- Meant to operate indoors on smooth concrete floors, but can go outdoors on pavement.
- These forklifts range in capacities from 3,000 lbs. to 15,500 lbs. and have a standard lift height of up 15' 8".
Outdoor Forklifts
- Outdoor forklifts are also called "pneumatic tire forklifts".
- The tires are bigger than it's warehouse counterpart, designed to go outdoors on rough, uneven and broken ground.
- Typically these lift trucks operate in harsher applications like a lumber yard or a foundry.
- Lift capacities typically range from 3,000 to 15,500 lbs, and have a standard lift height of up 15' 8".
